Custom Firearm Finishes

We offer Duracoat and Cerakote finish products, however we prefer Cerakote for firearms.

Cerakote is a ceramic based finish that can be applied to metals, plastics, polymers and wood. The unique formulation used for Cerakote ceramic coating enhances a number of physical performance properties including abrasion/wear resistance, corrosion resistance, chemical resistance, impact strength, and hardness. Each of these properties is rigorously tested to guarantee that Cerakote products remain at the foreforont of the ceramic coatings market. Cerakote ceramic coatings utilize state-of-the-art technology to out-perform any competitive coating in both laboratory settings and real world applications.

DuraCoat Firearms Finishing System which is the very latest in firearm finishing technology. No other commercially manufactured and packaged firearm finishing system offers the versatility, durability and user friendly characteristics of DuraCoat. DuraCoat is well suited for salty environments. One of DuraCoat's attributes is its extreme ability to resist salt corrosion. DuraCoat can withstand temperatures as high has 500-600 degrees F. With "normal" shooting, your barrel will never get close to being that hot. If you are fortunate enough to own a transferable machine gun, or if you like to "blaze" with your semi-auto, do not put DuraCoat on your barrel, as your barrel temperature will rise to over 1,000 degrees F. In those cases, use DuraHeat. Our DuraHeat coating can handle temperatures up to 1,800 degrees F.

Turn Around Time

For single color jobs, we generally finish your job within 5 business days. We strive to give as accurate of estimates as possible. Colors that are not often run may take longer, up to 12 business days. We can expedite your workorder for an extra fee. Expedited orders can be turned around as quickly as a single business day. For more information, please e-mail us with Subject Line "EXPEDITE."

Large Runs and Dealer Pricing

If you are a manufacturer of firearm accessories and parts, we may be able to help meet your Cerakote coating needs. We can handle runs of almost any size and turnaround on time and on budget. E-mail use for more information of batched jobs.

If you are a dealer interested in offering Cerakote to your customers, you've reached the right place. With our FFL, you can send us firearms to be refinished at a healthy margin. You and your customer will be satisfied at our quick turn around and we offer a healthy discount to fellow FFL retail storefront owners. We strive to make the process as painless as possible. Once setup with us, you simply just drop firearms in the mail and they are returned to you ready to deliver to your customer. We can even arrange local pickup if you are in the San Diego area.

We strive to keep prices as low as possible. In order to do this we pass savings onto everyone by not offering discounts for retail Cerakote and Duracoat jobs. This ensures that we can turn around work as quickly as possible without having to prioritize jobs based on batched jobs. We strive to keep a first in and first out process.
